Hello, my name is Lee, and I run Lee's Channel. My account is about to be terminated and there is nothing I can do about it. Over the past two days I have gotten two content violations that I didn't deserve, for videos that are years old. My channel is devoted to documenting San Francisco's problems with homelessness, mental illness, and drug abuse. I have been accused of promoting harmful acts and of bullying, and have several of my videos deleted. If I get one more strike, my account is terminated. I made a 2 hour video explaining the situation, clarifying why I am documenting the issues I am documenting, and sharing my life experience with child abuse, having a mother with schizophrenia, being raised in children's shelters group homes and foster homes, being dropped off at a homeless shelter when I became 18, and talking about all the children I grew up with being addicts, along with many other subjects. I am being blocked from uploading it. This video that I poured my heart and soul into cannot be uploaded because I am blocked from uploading for the next two weeks due to these strikes. If I get another strike I am gone completely, and I will never be able to share my life story with my subscribers. In 5 or 6 days my flagged videos will finalize the deletion process.
You have to contact YouTube and they can manually assist.
I'm from San Fransisco and I need your channel to exist.
YouTube was invented near or in San Francisco.
They should understand that you're not promoting harmful acts.
The problem is, idk what it means to contact YouTube. I just hear that being thrown around anytime this happens.
I will upload your video to my channel and put links into the description.
Thanks for the support. I was able to get one of the strikes reversed, but they made the video adult only. 3 of my other videos were deleted, and I still have a strike against my account, but at least I was able to upload my video.
