I started life as a YouTuber using games as a medium to tell stories through serious and light roleplay in March 2013. After growing disillusioned by the amount of mistaken and outright fraudulent claims on music on my videos (since day 1 I've always gotten permission from the musician's to use their music, and give proper attribution in video and desc) I decided to check out livestreaming.
In March 2014 I started livestreaming, and have done that til the present with multicasting to Twitch, Mixer, and YouTube. I am also doing pre-recorded serious roleplay series (SRP) on the days I don't stream.
I'm a smaller YouTube creator (just over 1k viewers) - YouTube accounts for about 1/3 of my viewer base. The other 2/3 is almost equally spread between Twitch and Mixer.
I do multicasting for many reasons, but the pertinent one here is "Don't put all your eggs in one basket." This is also the reason I haven't signed the Affiliate agreement with Twitch, even though I could have on the third day the program was rolled out (signing means you can't multicast).
I'm a lurker/hermit by nature, for reasons I won't go into here, but even if I don't post a lot, I am around.
