I posted this in FB but as per Joerg’s request I am going to repost here,
Just a suggestion, I think it should be made clear to the YouTube executives that should they take negative actions against any single member of this union, that it will result a full response from every member of the Union!!! Right now nothing can stop YT from just deleting or blocking trouble making accounts!
I’m saying this because in reality each individual channel, no matter the size, is still just a small player in the whole multi billion dollar game. The standard response is to get rid of or block the trouble makers. And honestly they hold the cards to do it. YT themselves, may never do something like that, but in the dollar game, they still jump through bigger hoops. They start putting strikes against channels and how many do you think will cave, take their ball and go home because they don’t like the game anymore. Now if YT knows that at any actions like that will prompt an swift and public response from a whole group with a common goal, it will make them think twice before escalating the matter to that level.

Good suggestion. What action do you think the group could take in response?

To be honest with you, I think that the biggest challenge for us is to provoke ANY reaction from YouTube. Because it means they recognize us as a danger and force to be reckoned with.
The most likely reaction of YouTube will be to do - nothing. They will try to sit this out. It worked for them many times in the past. In case they pick up the fight, we have half way won already. The press will then push the story like crazy.

Good question, What action do they have to fear from us?
1. Videos about what they are doing? They will be deleted and blocked too if they really want to play this game!
2. We going to other Platforms? Well honestly, then we don't even need to start this fight!
3. Make it Public on FB/Twitter/Reddit and so on? Ok we would get more publicity no question about it, but also YT will we warned and can Programm there Bot's to look even more for our actions on YT!
4. Make it Public on News Sites? Do we have even Connection to them?
And yes this time it is a negative post in some points, because i don't see (yet) our option that we have!

Vids released on other platforms by everyone who runs a channel. Negative publicity, anything that will draw away users and hurt their bottom line. Until you touch their income, you won’t hurt them. Start costing them market shares with a huge negative outcry publicly and they will back down some or as I said think twice before hand. Honestly anything short of a consolated stances by everyone, will just be seen as another group bitching about YT, that’s not what I personally joined for. Every Union in history, had to be prepared to hurt their industry to be taken seriously!

We won't be "bitching around". But as long as we aren't huge we have to chose the proper measures.
I believe that pressure from the public (press) must come first. I have already given several interviews and expect the coverage next week.
Then we will officially introduce us to YouTube, which they will most likely ignore.
Next step is that we will all upload our videos to another platform (everyone can chose his own favorite) with just a teaser on our YT channels. This may last a week or two, just as a warning. This will lead traffic away from YT, which they hate the most. During that period, we will ask the users here in the Union to confront the other creators they follow with the request to join. Some will do so.
Analytics will then tell us how much damage we have caused to YouTube.

I apologize if I came accross wrong, I was referring to how YT executive offices will view this as. I’m here to help any way I can, I’m just trying to indicate that as long everyone stays on the same path and goal, as well as stand behind the Union 100%, then we will be taken seriously. Without that we won’t.

"I think that the biggest challenge for us is to provoke ANY reaction from YouTube." Agreed Youtube can just ignore this group unless it gets larger and or powerful allies.
