I'm starting this off the back of the update Joerg posted on the Facebook group (reposted to the forum by Crul). In the update, Joerg asks if anyone could create a homepage for the group. I decided a thread where people can post what they can do to help would be beneficial to aid in deciding how to procede with something and who to ask to help.
We may need people who can help in both an online campaign and an offline campaign, from those who can make videos to maybe contacting news media outlets to forum maintenance and everything in between.
I'd like to ask Joerg to consider making this a sticky

I think youtubers who support need to make videos on the issue. At time of posting there are 7-8k members but a lot of them are creators with who knows how many subscribers. Even if relatively few join that is a huge amount of spreading potential.

I'm a web designer and have experience building and maintaining websites in corporate environments. I have already reached out to Jörg but I am happy to help wherever I am needed.
I think an official site on it's own domain would be a great place to start.

Due to several different things I'm basically housebound. Cannot do web design but I am more than happy to do grunt work or time consuming things as needed. Currently pushing this to the horror Youtube community as best I can.

We do need a centralized location such as an official website, as it will send a strong message that both creators and viewers in the YT community take this very seriously. The satellite locations such as these forums, reddit, FB could possibly be best utilized as outreach. However best not to spread ourselves too thin...

These last few days I rarely watch a YT video without leaving an appropriate comment. I've gotten quite a lot of positive feedback thus far. Taofledermaus is a notable example; however he voiced his concerns that facebook was very busy and was filling up his feed.

I'm a Software Engineer by trade. I have limited experience with web languages, but once I site is stood up I can help maintain and update it. I'm happy to help maintain and moderate the forum as well.
I also have a language-oriented degree, and I'm comfortable putting any officially endorsed content into professional-grade American English. Writing, editing, and/or proofreading are all well within that expertise.
(Professional communication is important for the success of an organization, particularly when interacting with external entities.)
Also, though I'm a bit rusty, I have formal instruction in Spanish as a second language, and collaborating with Spanish speakers or translating content isn't out of the question.
