Good idea gyroscope. I think Youtube comments are the easiest way to try to contact with any youtuber. Maybe he doesn't see a single comment, but with enough comments it will. Just don't spam too much  . |

I agree... MXR would probably be sympathetic. Perhaps I could send him a message? He showcased one of my videos as a favour to me a few years ago, so we've got some history. That said, an invitation would probably have more weight if a prominent channel spoke to him instead. I'm just a lowly screenwriter In the same category, 'Gopher' has been very critical of what YT has been doing recently. He's my personal choice as he speaks softly but carries a big sub base. He's a very persuasive figure in the RPG/modding circles and has been very forthcoming about his adventures into full time YT. We've also shared a bit of correspondence in the past, he's a real gentleman and would be an asset to any organization. |

I think it might be a good thing if we could get a few ladies onboard, My apologies if we already have, I can'[t be watching YT and checking out the members list ;-)
Seriously though, it would be nice to have someone who represents the female CP's, it would also be nice if we could have someone to represent the subscribers. The more subbers we can recruit the better really, it doesn't only bolster the numbers, it also shows that there is solidarity between content producers and those who watch their channels, I think that's a little unclear at the moment. I've had two conversations with people who I know are avid youtubers both of whom said 'That's for the people who make the content' Perhaps a quick note on everyone's channel asking followers to come and support the union would be helpful?
Oh the list above Is (I think) a list of those who have in the past had a bit of a moan about whats going on with YT. Some may be happy to join, especially if approached by another bigger channel.

I've tried to contact Mark Dice who has had numerous problems with YouTube, but doesn't respond. The guy has over 1.2 million subscribers and needs to join!
