I'm the Angry Gay Pope, Scientology protester. Once I won an Emmy animating a Steven Spielberg show, then I and everyone I knew had their jobs in production outsourced. Now I protest the Church and take donations at www.patreon.com/angrygaypope
In 2008 the Church came down hard on us protesting as Anonymous. A paid enemy, Oliver Schaper, exploited the DMCA (digital millennium copyright act), obsessively attempted to take down hundreds of videos with false claims. If a video used time lapse photography of the sky he said he owned it yet had no proof. Youtube, which makes a lot of money off the Church's sparsely used YT channels and ads, sided with them.

Eventually I got three bogus strikes and lost my channel. The link above is "obsolete."

It was a shame as I lost hundreds of thousands of views and all the great comments from ex-scientologists and others making valuable contributions to the movement by doing things like ID'ing people in the videos. I had to re-upload the videos, which were now no longer in chronological order, and get new comments.
Since then my second channel as been up for TEN YEARS with about five million views and 10,000 subscribers.
The notoriously litigious Church has sued me six times but my lawyer works for free as pro bono vexatious litigant. That means he sues people too much :0 But what do you expect? I am a religious leader.
