Looks like it has already happened. We are asked to help some channels and decide if those channels and the content is worth happening. As I suggested right when this started we can not help be be drawn in to this kind of thing. Because of that I have a couple of suggestions.
1. We have a clear step by step guide how we can help channels or groups of channels like gun related channels. This should involve things like highlighting the problem working in the media etc. But probably not donations. The exact normal practices can be discussed and decided on.
2. We back any content that is not illegal in the US since that is where Google/Youtube is based. That takes the personal preference out of it. Part of the problem with gun rules is they are banning things that are not illegal in the US. And I know many of you do not agree with US gun laws. But the way to address that is to.... A. Be a US citizen. And B vote to change things to your ideals.

I really like your second point. Thanks it is the only rational way I have figured out how to do it. If not everything always turns into a huge debate and splits the community.

I think we have to remember that we won't always agree and that is ok, as long as we stay respectful and remember that preferring different methods does not make us opponents

we need to get demolition ranch or some bigger gun channels to work with jorg to make some statements. I know demo ranch said he has no plans to leave youtube but still making some public statements could be helpful.

As you mention demolition ranch, this would be a great thing, he made a hole Videos about his problems with youtube a short time ago, so that would be a great support.
Another question that comes to my mind is: Are gamingchannels which are playing shootergames like counterstrike are affected, too? I mean, the new youtube guidelines saying that it is forbidden to show assembling of guns. In counterstrike and other games you can see at least how a suppressor get mounted on a gun. Technically that violates the guidelines.
What do you think? Will youtube tolerate that, because it is "just a game" or will they ban that, too? This could be a good reason for convince the big amount of gaming channels for becoming part of the union.
