1st off, before anything else I don't give a F about the "left" or "right" side, as at this point it's worn out and it's not helpful. Since it has affected both sides of the coin, at times where YT has admitted it don't make much sense the system.
Now, this below maybe you could provide proof of this maybe?
Or shall I, bring up how your FUNDED by YouTube? Ie, actually like given money to produce more content, not just from ad's.
That^ and Joerg's recent video suggests something up ok?
The thing is, many other sources suggests that it affects visibility, view counts and video in question ability to make money on the vid. What more proof do you need?

Ana Kasparian is wrong. Contrary to the notion that the push for this practice came from advertisers, I saw how demonetization started by a push from some irate viewers. Specifically, it looks like the conspiracy nuts about the Boston bombing pissed off some viewers and those viewers got it in their heads that it would be a good idea to demand that videos claiming that the Boston bombing was fake should not be allowed to have ads! (This is what I gather from my research of some people making video complaints to Youtube. BTW, from what I can tell, the first video demonetized on my channel was about how the Boston bombing conspiracies were wrong! see www.youtube.com/watch?v=QH5If6JYj3w&list=PLfrlsC1yJ2dSnKIHBJrnrPKrK9bOtV-A3 that one then the next three ) And the fact that we can see ads on the nightly news and that for over a hundred years advertising has accompanied stories about war and political conflicts shows what Ana is saying is false. see youtu.be/3migvCsRxi4And yes, TYT is treated differently. here is a video removed by YouTube that I had to upload on Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/246631466
