My name is Daren. I’ve been YouTubing part time for a few years, mostly making gaming or firearms related content. My channel was starting to pick up and I was close to my first $100 check when YouTube demonitized everyone and I never saw the nearly $100 I had earned. And now my channel is no longer partnered and no longer eligible for ads... so YouTube went from a hobby to a forgotten pastime for now. I just recently heard about this group. I’m glad someone is fighting for better from the people at YouTube & Google. I’m not sure how active this group still is, but hopefully we can work together and see real change soon!
