I just got a message from YT suggesting I join a self certification scheme for monetisation. I am supposed to "answer a few questions" before I upload and the more accurate I am "over time" (they say), the less likely they are to keep me waiting for my monetisation permission from their own moderators. Does anyone know about this? Why am I suspicious that it could be a Devil's bargain?
