Nice idea with the union, though we will likely be at their whims until such time as a viable alternative platform comes to be.
I'm John, though I tend to go by the handle NEXFER on YouTube.
I'm also an administrator / developer at TubeFrog.com (a YouTube project of mine), check it out and add your channels to the index if they don't already fall under one of YouTube's curated topics (in which case they are indexed by the crawler).
It's pretty handy for live streams and chatting as well.
Also if anyone needs any web support for a channel website or its like, I can assist with PHP for the YouTube Data API if needed!
