I'm not a YouTuber, just a user. I dont watch Joerg's video and I'm not a subscriber, but for some reason I have started getting a ton of recommendations to his videos. I'm wondering why? Is it possible they are attempting to play our founder by pushing his channel? Anyway, has anyone else noticed this?

What is most likely is that he is showing on several news outlets and his name is in a lot of trending discussions. This makes him more relevant by association. He is a hot topic at the moment so you would expect his content to be shown more.

I do think Youtube's algorthing gives far too much SEO weight to trending topics. I got offered Logan Paul videos when I have purposefully avoided watching anything that would lead to them showing. I'm sure there is going to be a lot of people getting shown the rubberaulic press video, even though they have no interest in industrial rubber powered weaponry
