Please tell me if this is just me, or if you too have been experiencing this inconvenience?

Yes. First one I noticed I was unsubscribed from was actually The Slingshot channel

I haven't been un-subbed per-se. More like the channels were crushed into oblivion. I like to hear and see as many viewpoints on a convo as possible to make an informed decision. Sometimes the content creators channel is considered "radical" or "inflammatory" and vanishes...

I havent been unsubscribed but i do occasionally not get notifications. Interestingly they still show up in my subscription feed. Its really weird.

I must say I don't think I've been unsubbed from anyone, but it's hard to know what's missing when you don't even have circles in the carpet to go on.
On the same topic, I'm fairly sure there have been times when videos I've been waiting on haven't shown up in the feed.
