Okay I think alot of us on the Gaming aspect of youtube are well aware of the problem with Nintendo's policies and of course their abuse of the automation youtube uses.
I submitted my first video last night. As I'm a new face to youtube obviously I don't have much yet. Just 3 Subscribers and 5 likes. Still we all have to start somewhere.
For Context my review of Splatoon 2 I gave a 10 outa 10. And already the following morning two Copyright claims from Nintendo.
I have zero intention of giving up on covering Nintendo games. Nor am I going to join Nintendo's creators program. As it's Orwellian in nature and they hold the wolf's share of anything my videos would earn.
So I'm going to keep working on videos document every instanstance of this abuse. Reviews fall under fair use if I'm not mistaken. I'd have no issue fighting Nintendo in court over it. Somebody does have to take a stand.
Though this problem is as much on youtube as it is on Nintendo. Youtube enables Nintendo to get away with this.

Nintendo is totally trying to just get as much money as possible
They are literally the only company who does this.
They are wrong.
We should be able to play games live or do any kind of video we want on Nintendo content without having them take any money.

They'd prob be the MOST known to do so, but yeah there is others. However, a very easy way around this is to upload content on to Twitch and then you'll be able to make $ off this.
As Nintendo's partner program is more hassle than it's worth tbh.
