YouTube has a video police program that flag content for potential violations, called, YouTube Trusted Flagger program.
I am thinking about joining there and learn what exactly they are flagging videos and channels for and get an idea of their future plans. If we as creators can make reasonable changes in our content in a way that doesn't violate TOS and our right to provide content and information at the same time.
During this YT purge of Feb. 2018 many other new alternative platforms are becoming available. We need to put our content in on as many platforms as possible. Since the amount of gun violence in schools and people exposing government conspiracy some of which is true and some not, people to lose trust and become angry, then expressing outrage which influenced a lot of divide, fighting and violence threats in videos. Youtube with it's advertising supporters and contracts with the film/movie/gaming industry, plus share investors are in the political arena controlling the YouTube sites content.
I have an idea, which might help us all when a channel is shut down and that is to create a legion involving we all create a short video telling that a channel has been shut down and has moved to the new channel NAME HERE. And provide a static link in the description area to click on leading to their new channel. In other words, promote each other in the event of channel termination to help subscribers find the new channel. The old channel title would have to be in the title for your promotion video so it's found in searches. Just a few thoughts and suggestion I can come up with for now. I think it's a win/win situation to help each other even in competition and competition IS GOOD for business.
