YT not monetizing new channels since November 2017

There are literally thousands of new channels which are still waiting to be reviewed for monetization, even though they completed all the requirements(4000 watch hours, 1000 subscribers).
This has been going on since November 2017.
I have been waiting for monetization since December 2017. My channel has more than 1 MILLION watch hours, over 100 000 subscribers and more than 20 MILLION views yet my channel has still not been reviewed (You can imagine how I feel about that).
Even old channels which were monetized before but quit their MCN in the time of November to February had to wait for a review to get back in. (According to reddit and twitter, these channels were accepted back into YPP in the beginning of March.)
From December to the end of February the Monetization page in YT Creator studio stated that they are in backlog and hope to review all applications by the end of January (yes, that was still there even at the end of February).
Now it's mid March and guess what happened... They just changed the end of January to the end of APRIL. And I have a bad feeling, that nothing is going to happen by the end of APRIL, and they just change April to July or something. At this point I think YT is run by a bunch of incompetent sociopaths so I don't trust what they say.
When I contact YT support, I just receive half automated emails saying, that they can not help and I just have to wait. Basically telling me to suck it up and continue making videos.
So there are channels which are going to wait at least for 6 months just to get a review(if reviewed in April).
I have been observing reddit, youtube help forums, twitter for the last 5 months to see if there are any new channels monetized. There was 1 that I am aware of (new channel which was not part of MCN before) - Will Smith's new channel. It was monetized instantly in December 2017. So clearly some people don't have to wait.
Story of Cody'sBLab
This issue of not reviewing new channels is affecting a lot of people. As you may know Cody's Lab is one of the most popular science youtubers. He is making real educational content and is super polite.
He's main channel was wrongly affected by the Youtube antics (false flagging, automated strikes, video deleting etc...). He was unable to post new videos on his main channel, so he made a second channel in November 2017 called Cody'sBLab . The channel gained more than 100 000 subscribers in a few days and although he is a known youtuber, YT obviously does not like him, because his content is not flashy and shallow enough (like Logan Pauls for example) and he is not a Hollywood actor (like Will Smith).
When he was harrased by YT system again in February 2018 he posted video explaining his new problems and also showed that his second channel had still not been reviewed for monetization, confirming what I am writing here.(He thought, that it was partly his fault because of the Afganistan default setting, but that is not the case. I set it to USA on the first day and I am still not reviewed) So as far as I can see (I don't see any ads on his channel) Cody'sBLab is still not monetized even though it has more than 170 000 subscribers. He is in the same boat as thousands of other new creators all over the world. Youtube does not seem to care.
So it's mid March and no end to this insanity in sight. New creators are literally losing thousand of dollars while YT is trying to cover their failures by releasing high ranking blogs, cute tweets and interviews with Casey Neistat. Acting like they changed their ways while they destroy new channels by starving them. They changed their requirements for new channels and then they actually stopped reviewing them.
How can new channels keep growing and making high quality videos if they have to wait 6 months to get monetised? How can they compete for views with big channels that are already monetized and have been monetised straight from day 1?
How can Youtubers Union help? Let's put pressure on Youtube so they stop acting like disfunctional monopoly.
All we want is that Youtube start to review the channels that completed their requirements and have been waiting for the last 1-4 months!
I ask Youtubers Union on behalf of all new creators to spread awareness about this serious issue and help new creators!
