Good or bad idea, if done right?

So they call it self-certification. I wonder if this shifts certain responsibility over to the creator and also opens the creator up for litigation.

https://www.reddit.com/r/youtube/comments/8a0d9t/soon_youtube_will_be_giving_creators_the_option/ Basically they are asking creators to rate their content 1 to 4 in different categories. I really like this for 3 reasons - They publiscised this before going ahead with it.... Transparency
- It opens the door to deal with creators who deliberately misrepresent their content. aka elsagate
- It opens the door to give advertisers the ability to target controversial categories, rather than just banning them
I have been saying for ages they need to rank content categories 1-5 so advertisers AND users can select what they are happy with. They stole my idea as skimmed off the 5th option so I can't monetize my idea lol

If done right, the idea might actually be useful. So for people who "play by the rules", they should be fine in theory while the Logan Brothers likely wouldn't be. Good move by YouTube, to address this 8+ month long issue.
